At Storytime we place great emphasis on constantly developing and enriching the content of our curriculum to ensure our students benefit from a learning experience of the highest international standard.
We recently introduced the Primary Years Program (PYP) theme-based approach, developed by International Baccalaureate® (IB), a non-profit educational foundation offering highly respected programs of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live and learn in a rapidly globalizing world. Different PYP themes will be applied to different areas of the curriculum throughout the year.
Our Nursery and KG-1 programs put emphasis on developing the child’s curiosity and creativity, using hands on explorations in the areas of arts and crafts, math, and science, and developing their social skills through play in our water play area, sand box, and garden.
The KG-2 and KG-3 curriculum has been enriched with the very creative and successful Reading and Writing Workshops. In addition to focusing on phonics and sight words, K2 and K3 programs are designed to develop students’ creative writing skills. Students will also learn different reading strategies and develop a love for reading aimed at growing them into lifelong readers.
We are looking forward to a fun filled, play-based and theme-based curriculum this year.
